Modern and Lyrical (Beg-Intermediate)
This is
a wonderful introductory class for students ages 7-10 to learn modern dance
techniques.
Students explore space, shapes, timing, interpretive movement and
improvisation. Modern
dance is one of the most expressive forms of dance, and
in this class emphasis is placed nurturing the student?s creative skills and
imagination. This class will also strengthen the dancers musicality. This class is based off of the foundations
of ballet. We strongly encourage the dancers to take classical ballet in addtion to this class.
